Miranda began her professional training as an actress in 1996 where she trained at Birmingham School of Acting formally known as Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, completing the three-year course.

She then, in 2009, decided to train in Musical Theatre and auditioned and was accepted to complete, the one year course at the Prestigious London School of Musical Theatre.

Since, and to present date, she has trained extensively in the Meisner Technique with The Salon Collective London completing Stages 2, 3 and Text Analysis. She continues to train with the Salon on a regular basis. She believes as an actress you are always developing and continuous training is vital to this development.

Her professional Theatre credits include: The Ghost of Christmas present in ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the Stag Theatre Sevenoaks, Lillian in ‘Bluebeard’ at The Lion Unicorn Theatre, Taddy Jo in ‘The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas’ at the Landor Theatre.  Number 1 tour of Fatal Encounter playing Hilary Van Zale. Evilia Hardup in Cinderella at the Civic Theatre, Doncaster.  

Her feature film credits include Jacquelyn leading role in ‘Scarred’, Princess Elizabeth, the leading role in ‘The Travelling Companion’ Sarah, the leading role in ‘The Ghost of Life’ and Woman the leading role in ‘Marriage’ which has, in the 2017 festival circuit, won numerous awards and Miranda winning the  ‘Best Actress’ in the NYC Indie Film Awards.

Her short film credits include Alice Moore in ‘A Bad Combination’ Natalie in ‘In the Shadow in The Light’ the Adulteress in ‘The Providence Tape’. Ava in the short film Noir ‘Façade’ and Hazel in ‘The Kiss of a Wolf’.

Miranda is also a keen writer. Her writing credits include ‘A Bad Combination’, ‘Deadly Deceit’ and ‘The Kiss of a Wolf’ all short films. Her latest piece is ‘Already Dead’ to which she has also Produced and Directed. This is now ready for the festival circuit.
